Volunteers Ida and Nisa proposed a wonderful weekend activity for the children which would help develop carpentry and design skills while building an actual stool. Most importantly, it let the children exercise their creativity and empowered them with a tangible end product that was all theirs!

By using borrowed tools and reclaimed materials, the project was also completely sustainable. The process of drawing and coloring the stools was clearly the children's favorite part of the project and really let them personalize the stools.
